We had a great time at the TANI bistro&bar where we had veg tandoori platter, which was a true feast for the senses. The platter featured paneer, veg kebabs, and naan on the side, each component bursting with flavor. The paneer was perfectly spiced, the kebabs were succulent, and the naan was soft and warm.One standout dish was the cauliflower, which was not only perfect for vegetarians but also delicious enough to satisfy any non-vegetarian. Its texture and seasoning were impeccable, making it a memorable part of our meal.Venturing into the non-vegetarian options, we tried the methi fish. I’m usually not a fan of fish, but the methi-infused flavor was a revelation. It was a unique combination that was both appetizing and pleasantly surprising.We also had aloo gobi and garlic naan, both of which were excellent. The aloo gobi was seasoned to perfection, and the garlic naan was the ideal accompaniment, warm and garlicky.The menu at Tani Bistro and Bar offers an extensive variety of dishes, ensuring there's something for everyone. The staff was exceptionally cheerful, adding to the pleasant dining atmosphere. Their warm hospitality made our visit even more enjoyable.Overall, Tani Bistro and Bar is a place I would definitely visit again. 2nd time to visit Tani and it didn’t disappoint. It is well located, not too far from the main road of Balastier Road, facing a quiet neighborhood. Seating by the outdoor area facing a small park and play area for the kids is really lovely and makes Tani a kids friendly place to come to.We ordered Fish tikka tandoori, chicken korma, palak paneer - all the dishes were spot on delicious. Very impressed that the fish though cooked tandoori style, was still so moist. The chicken in its creamy and mildly spice sauce was also moist and divine. Saffron rice was of good quality though personally, I would like just a little more saffron for its Colour and luxurious smell. One can argue that why waste on saffron when the flavorful sauces will remove the saffron- you are right. Just my personal choice.The service on a Saturday was good. Definitely a place to come again.
Enjoyed food and hospitality at Tani Bistro from 28th to 1st June. Food taste is amazing and hospitality is very pleasing and that compelled us to mark this place as a place of choice. Great Experience
Great fish and egg curry. Garlic Naan was slightly less flavourful than other shops but still good. Great food!
Delicious Indian cuisine with plenty of vegetarian selections. Our favs are their Veg Platter and Vegetable Biryani. Has both air-con indoor section and alfresco areas facing the beautiful Zhongshan park. If you drink, they have a bar counter offering cocktails, mocktails and more.
Vegetarian food is really good. Try the butter chicken and tikka chicken but I find the meat portion is small and not flavourful enough compare to the veggies. Commando is good but onion portion is 50%. One of the best India food I tried so far. Highly recommanded
Tani is a contemporary bistro and bar nestled amidst the lush greenery of Zhongshan Park in Singapore offering North Indian and Indo-Chinese cuisine .It’s located inconspicuously just behind the mall adjacent to Starbucks and easy to miss from the roads .* Food: They have a wide range of choices , both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes as well as drinks .* We tried The Papri chat and Tandoor Seafood platter , both were delicious. The Papri chat is a must-try as it is pleasantly different from the other restaurants you get in Singapore .* Service: The staff appeared happy and cheerful, provided excellent service, continuously keeping an eye on our needs and comfort , going above and beyond. The complimentary dessert as a nice gesture from the owner added a personal touch to our dining experience. 🍬* Ambiance: Tani offers a cosy relaxing environment with both outdoor and indoor seating making it an ideal spot to savor some Indian cuisine with value for money offerings . 🌿Will definitely return to enjoy more of those flavorful moments! 😊
Have enjoyed my dinner at this restaurant during singapore restaurant week. Food was really nice and the Paneer Tikka was my whole family’s favourite dish of the night. Tried fish, mutton, check main dishes too, and all were nice except that the fish was a bit off my expectation.A minor pity is that their Indian beers were sold out.Will definitely come back again.
A couple of days ago in Bangkok I was lucky enough to find the best Sushi restaurant you could ever ask for in the world. Then I arrive in Singapore and TANI does the same for Indian cuisine. The staff and manager make you feel so welcome like part of a family. They make sure to understand what you really enjoy and then with some great drinks, serve fantastic food. We sat outside and it was a beautiful view. While we had a romantic meal for two I noticed many people enjoying a solo experience. Definitely try the Biriani! Great place to add to your 'To Do' list.
